As a result, mushrooms are unique in that they are neither animal nor plant but are placed in the fungi kingdom. Mushrooms are the “fruiting body” of mycelium, which is the actual fungal organism that possesses the medicinal properties. The fruiting bodies of mushrooms can be difficult to digest and assimilate due to well-developed covalent bonds in their cell walls. Healeo Ultra Mushroom SFx utilizes only the soft cell walls of multiple mushroom mycelia, which are rich in potent enzymes and polysaccharide compounds. Our mycelia grow on a proprietary, highly nutritive, certified organic substrate from long-established, proven strains of mushroom spores. In order to maintain a clean, pure growing environment, the mushroom mycelia are grown in a pharmaceutical-grade clean room with HEPA air filtration. The mycelia are carefully monitored throughout their growth to ensure the complete development of all their beneficial constituents. In fact, due to special handling and moisture control, only the different mycelia are allowed to grow and not the actual fruiting mushroom bodies. After harvest, a special cold-drying and precision cold-milling process is employed that protects heat-sensitive enzymes and breaks down the chitinous fibers in the soft cell walls of the mycelia to make them fully digestible.
