Our certified organic grasses are harvested from a high desert environment and are sown in both early spring and late autumn. After the grass shoots emerge, the plants focus their energy on developing an extensive root system, which is used to pull trace elements and minerals up from the soil into the grass blades where they are used to manufacture valuable enzymes. This natural, non-greenhouse growing process is crucial to a grass’s nutrient density. When our young grasses are ready to harvest at the initial jointing stage of growth, they are harvested in the early morning and immediately cooled and washed in a proprietary three-stage process helping to ensure all the bioactive enzymes are protected and preserved. A proprietary CO2 cold-temperature juicing and oxygen-free drying process is employed that further assures each grass juice maintains all of its inherent enzymatically-active constituents. This special juicing and low-temperature drying process releases and protects all of the beneficial plant-cell nutrients, keeping them in their natural state for absorption into the body. After each grass is harvested and washed, the grass is gently juiced at 35° F utilizing an exclusive CO2 cold-temperature juicing process. The cold, raw grass juice is then pumped to the top of an oxygen-free, 100-foot tower where it is sprayed as a fine mist.
